Claremont International University

Education for an interconnected world.

Inspired by the process philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead and the pioneering work of John B. Cobb, Jr., Claremont International University (CIU) carries Claremont School of Theology’s 140-year legacy of progressive education into a new era of globally engaged higher education.

Master of Arts in Education

The Master of Arts in Education (MAE) is grounded in process-relational theory of education and offered in collaboration with the Center for Process Studies (CPS), which provides faculty support and intellectual resources. It immerses students in the theory and practice of education understood as a dynamic, interconnected, and creative process.
